Backyard Carnival

Backyard Carnival

Transfer guests to their very own Backyard Carnival. Host this theme for your hen party and create some amazing memories. Keep reading to find out how.

Decor

Try this theme indoors or outdoors. If the weather is on your side then a garden carnival would be fantastic. If not, clear out a large room and get decorating. The decor for this theme should be fun and flashy. Create your own sign using cardboard to welcome guests into the party. Setting up a photobooth corner would be a great addition that guests are sure to love. Try creating this against a plain wall decorated with twinkly lights and bunting. If possible, hang some colouful wall paper or fabric on the wall. We have some fun photobooth props available in our online store. Balloons are a must for this theme. Pick up some colourful balloons at your local supermarket and scatter them in bunches around the area.

Games

The options are endless when it comes to carnival games. These games could include ring toss, bowling and knock over the milk bottles. A nice touch would be to set up a temporary tattoo station or a face painting area. Little additions like this will ensure that guests are never bored. These simple game options are also fantastic id the guest list includes younger hens.

Food and drink

If guests have not eaten before the party, make sure to have some small dishes available. Start the BBQ and treat guests to some tasty burgers and hot dogs. Always a winner! Set up a sweets table full of goodies such as candy floss, popcorn and pretzels. This will set the carnival scene perfectly!

Last but not least, make sure to take lots of pictures to remember this amazing hen party ladies. Have fun!
