Backyard Rustic Hen Party

Backyard Rustic Hen Party
Now that the sunshine is back we can start planning the outdoor Hen Party. Keep reading for our tips on creating a Backyard Rustic Hen Party.
Decor
The decor for this hen party theme is all about the natural look. Think wood, flowers and neutral colours such as cream, white and grey. Lay out a table and chairs for guests to sit down, chat and enjoy some treats. For a truly rustic feel, why not place a small table in the garden surrounded by some cushions and blankets so everyone can sit down. This would be perfect on a sunny day!
Food and drink
Choosing food for a rustic theme is our favourite thing to do! Some great ideas include a cheese and meat board, BBQ food and lots of yummy treats like cookies and cupcakes. One unique idea we came across was to fill a wheelbarrow with ice and then fill with different types of beer. Not only will this make it easy for guests to help themselves but it will also look very stylish!
Dress code
If you are introducing a dress code, keep it simple. Encourage guests to wear maxi dresses, sandles and flower crowns. The idea is that guests are comfortable and natural during this party. Leave the heels at home! Another great idea would be to place a hamper of flip flops in the garden for the hens to change into as the evening continues. Stylish yet comfortable – perfect!
So if this theme sounds like it would suit you and the hens, try it out!
