Who doesn’t love F.R.I.E.N.D.S? If the bride-to-be is a fan then surprise her with a Friends Themed Hen Party. Could this be any more fun?!
Dress code:
To add some fun to the party, why not ask the hens to dress up as their favourite F.R.I.E.N.D.S character. Here are some ideas if you need inspiration:
- Rachel’s cute plaid skirt, grey crop top and knee high socks as seen in the episode ‘The One Where The Monkey Runs Away’.
- Monica’s ‘mom jeans’, red tank top and runners in the episode ‘The One With The Flashback’.
- Pheobe’s purple velvet top and skirt in ‘The One Where Everybody Finds Out’ episode.
Decor:
When decorating for this theme, keep the decor of the show in mind. Set up a table with tea, coffee and muffins for guests to enjoy. If you are hosting this party at home, great. The couch and arm chairs will make guests feel like they are sitting in Central Perk or Monica’s apartment. Just don’t forget the over-sized mugs! A nice addition to the party would be to create a sign that guests can see as they walk in. This sign could say “The one where Amy gets married”, just like the title of each episode. Perfect!
Food and drink:
Keep certain food from the show in mind when picking out food and drink for this theme. Some great ideas include making cookies and labeling them ‘Pheobe’s Nestle Tullhouse Cookies’. Why not order the ‘Joey Special’ of two pizzas? We are sure the hens will thoroughly enjoy!
Games:
For games you have some great options. Why not play your version of ‘Bamboozled’? As the actual rules of the game are unclear in the episode, you can make up your own. Remember to keep some of the hilarious rules such as holding your breath as the question is being read and the Hopping Bonus. Or maybe you would like to play the famous trivia game. Keep the categories the same;

Come up with questions about the bride that the guests have to answer. This is sure to be a huge hit with the girls!
