Some great colour schemes for this theme include blue and white or blue, white and red. Keep these colours present throughout the party with blue napkins, white anchors and red cutlery, for example. A fab idea would be to collect some empty mason jars, place white flowers inside, decorate with a blue ribbon and tie with rope string. These scattered around the area or on the table would look great.
Dress code:
Keep it fun with this hen party theme. Guests can dress up as a sailor, captain or even a mermaid. You can purchase these outfits in your local costume shop or simply use what your have in your wardrobe. Think blue dresses, red heels, red and white striped tops and of course a captain hat. A nice idea would be to pick up several plain captain hats and write each hens name on the front. This would be fab to throw on and take some pictures with!
Food and drink:
Serve up some tasty seafood for this hen party theme. Think prawns, shrimp cocktail and salmon cakes. For some sweet treats, decorate cupcakes and cakes using icing and items like sea shells. Decorate with fish and anchor icing shapes and place clean sea shells on top. When it comes to drink lay out jugs of blue and pink lemonade.
