Photoshoot
To test out this palette we decided to have a fun photoshoot with Claire and Elvira. Claire came up with two stunning looks that would compliment any bride-to-be or hen at the hen party or wedding. Check out the looks below…

Claire created two amazing looks that would be perfect for a hen party weekend. The first look was a fabulous smokey look, strong lip and perfect contour and highlight. The second look Claire created was an eye catching cut crease for a more retro feel. Both looks would be perfect for either day or night at the hen party, depending on your style. Claire also showed us the versatility of the palette by using the eyeshadows not just on the eyes but on the cheeks and lips also. This would be so handy for the days that you can only fit one palette in your make up bag, forget your blusher or highlighter or are simply in a rush. And we know at least one of these will happen at the hen party!

Claires Top Tips:
Claire from CrazyDolls.ie has shared what she loves most about the palette and her tops tips on how to get the most out if it below.
- Use a base such as the ‘Painterly’ paint pot from MAC. The shadows will grip onto it adding intensity without the need for building up layers.
- To do a quick smokey eye, Claire used ‘Teddy‘ eye kohl pencil from MAC buffed onto the lid. She then used ‘Smoked’ from the Hot Fire palette over it to create a gorgeous smokey eye in seconds.
- All colours in the palette compliment each other so any colour combination will look incredible. It’s completely fail proof!
- This palette suits all eye colours from the deep ‘Smoked’ shade for brown/hazel eyes and the glowing ‘Flame’ for blue/green eyes.
- This palette can be used in so many different ways, and not just on the eyes! Claire used it as an eyeshadow, blusher, highlighter, eyeliner and lip stain. The options are endless!
- No need for constant blending.
- Claire used the ‘London’ lashes from the Glam lash collection to complete the look perfectly.
- For a strong application, use a flat tipped brush and press on.
- To soften the socket line use a fluffy tip brush such as the MAC #217.
- The Crown Deluxe Round Chisel brush and the Crown Deluxe C1C9 Stiff also worked wonders with this palette. All available from crownbrush.co.uk.
