Hen Party Resolutions

Hen Party Resolutions

Attending a hen party soon? Before you head off to celebrate this very special occasion, it is good to come up with a small guide to ensure that the group stays together and have tons of fun! Check out our list of Hen Party Resolutions that we all try to keep on the hen party….but never do.

It’s almost that time of the year ladies. The time where we start making our New Years Resolutions. We promise to go to the gym three times a week, drink two litres of water a day and ‘be more positive’. Even though you break these resolutions every year you attempt to start all over again and be better this year. A few weeks, maybe even days pass, and you give up. We have all been there!

That is why we have decided to scrap the idea of New Years Resolutions (hallelujah!) and adopt some hen party resolutions instead. After all, this will be the highlight of your year! 😉

Don’t get lost from the group

This is difficult enough at any time of the year ladies…let’s be honest. So for the impending hen party we will vow not to get lost. As this is such a special occasion we want to spend the night together, not separated. This requires group trips to the bar, toilet and anywhere else those hens can wander off to. As great as your intentions may be, there is always one hen that will take on the dance floor all by herself or start chatting up the bar man. Maybe you can fashion a GPS for her….

Don’t ring the hubby-to-be

After a few glasses of bubbly us ladies get some great ideas! One of these great ideas are to call the hubby-to-be. Whether it is 8pm or 6am, this is usually not a good idea ladies. As hilarious as you think it would be to ring him and tell him that he better look after your “best friend ever”, it’s not. We are sure he won’t mind but who likes being woken up to a drunken phone call in the middle of the night? We sure don’t. Use your phone for more important things like selfies! However, refrain from posting these on social media. We will get to that later…..

Try not to get too drunk….

We all say this before a night out don’t we? We plan to have a few civilised drinks, celebrate our good friend or family member getting married and be home at a respectable time. This however, doesn’t always happen. We want to give the bride-to-be a good send off and have a fantastic night! A good way to avoid that sore head the next day is to drink a pint of water after every three drinks. If you start to loose count, just make sure you drink as much as you can. You will be happy you did the morning after.

Stay off social media

The hardest thing to refrain from on a night out – social media. We simply cannot help taking selfies and posting them all over Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat. We want to share this fun night with everyone! As fun as this seems in the moment we usually end up red faced or hitting the delete button the next morning. A good idea before a big night out like a hen party is to delete the social media apps on your phone. You can always install them the next day to get your fix. This way, even if you really want to post something you can’t. Plus, who can successfully download apps after a few glasses of bubbly. You will more than likely give up and head to the dance floor.

Don’t loose anything

Wallets, jackets, sometimes even shoes, for some reason something always goes missing on a night out. How to avoid this from happening is one of life’s greatest struggles! Some ways to try and prevent loosing items include wearing comfortable shoes so you don’t have to take them off and bringing cash so you don’t loose your card. This also prevents you from turning into P. Diddy on the night and splashing the cash that you don’t have. Perfect!

Revisit this list again before the big night out and let us know if you manage to keep these resolutions ladies!
