Our Yoga Experience
Our Yoga Experience
Thinking about yoga for a hen party activity? Want to try something different from the traditional hen? Then why not try yoga. We recently visited a yoga retreat in Kinsale called Wild Atlantic Way Yoga where we got to try it out for ourselves. Keep reading to hear about our yoga experience.
On the day we arrived to a stunning cottage where we were welcomed by the owner and yoga instructor. We enjoyed a chat over some herbal tea before the yoga class began. This was a nice way to settle into the activity and get to know each other. We were then shown to a beautiful yoga room with a high ceiling and large windows. Luckily it was a beautiful day so the sun was shining. Then it was time to begin the class.
The instructor asked if we had tried yoga before and what level of difficulty we were looking for. This way she was able to tailor the class to our level of experience. We decided to opt for a beginners level to suit the group. The class was simple to follow and left us all feeling super relaxed. It was a great chance to work on our flexibility and stretch out any sore points such as our back or shoulders. After the class we tucked into some delicious and wholesome vegetarian food. This was a great treat. We had definitely worked up an appetite on the mat.
Yoga is such a fantastic hen party activity. No matter your age or skill set, you are sure to have a enjoyable time. We thoroughly enjoyed the yoga class where we got to completely unwind with the group. It was great to celebrate this special occasion by escaping the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a relaxing afternoon. Make sure you bring a camera with you ladies, the beautiful surroundings were a perfect photo op.
