Is Simon Zebo the most romantic man in Rugby?
Munster Rugby star Simon Zebo who is on tour in the US at the moment with the Irish Rugby Team put together a very romantic surprise for his partner over the weekend.
Simon organised for a surprise rendition of the “Riptide” by Vance Joy to be performed to Elvira Fernandez at their home in Cork. The romantic singagram was performed by American Singer Velvin Lamont who became an adopted son of Cork following his performances on the Voice of Ireland and currently performs with Irish music star Brian Deady.
Simon put the request in with Velvin by phone and planned the surprise call to the door with the marketing team in thefancyhen.ie who Elvira currently models for. Elvira was not the only one who enjoyed the romantic performance by Velvin as she was joined at the door by their two kids Jacob and Sofia.
The surprise was well received by Elvira who phoned Simon on the spot to thank him thus earning him major brownie points ahead of Father’s Day. Elvira like Simon is also flying across the Atlantic soon as she is about to head off to the Dominican Republic where she is taking part in an international modelling competition.
