#FancyTrends: Get To Know Elvira Fernandez. This week we give you the low down on our fabulous brand ambassador and international model Elvira Fernandez.
Spanish model Elvira Fernandez has achieved a lot. From becoming a mother to graduating from college, working as an international model, TheFancyHen.ie brand ambassador and being recently crowned Miss Power Woman 2017, the last few years have been a busy one for this beauty from Madrid. When I first met Elvira she was so friendly and approachable. A natural beauty with minimal make up, casual jeans and white t-shirt. Gorgeous!
Family
Elvira Fernandez has been dating International rugby player Simon Zebo for over three years. The pair now have two beautiful children, Sofia and Jacob. Jacob arrived into the world in May 2015 while Sofia was born in late 2016. And they are just adorable! Elvira recently told us about how she came to Ireland to be with Simon. While studying in UCC she became pregnant with Jacob and then Sofia just before she graduated. “I was studying and I became pregnant. So then I had to keep studying while being pregnant. I had my baby. Then I got pregnant again. And I had my second child and finished my studies.” She also told us how becoming a mother has made her more cautious compared to the care free woman she used to be. “…now that I have children, everything has changed…and it’s very worrying. Everything.”
Love And Romance
Elvira and Simon truly seem like the perfect couple. She recently told us about the best date she has ever been on when Simon surprised her in Madrid after being apart for seven years. “It was so special that we are still together with two children!” You may be wondering (like we are) if a ring will appear on her finger any time soon right? Well we are not so sure about that but we are sure how Elvira wants to be asked. We recently asked her what her idea of the perfect proposal was. (hint hint nudge nudge to Simon…) She told us that she doesn’t have a perfect place but it has to be big and romantic! “I don’t have a perfect place but I love big things. So I said to him already that he better do it well because otherwise i’ll say no and he’ll have to do it again.” This lady knows what she wants!
Hen Parties
So if Elvira does have to plan a wedding in the near future, we wanted to know where she would love to go on her hen party. The really important question here of course! If she was celebrating in Ireland, Elvira would love to head to Dublin to party in Krystle nightclub and stay in The Shelbourne Hotel. “…I love going into a good nightclub. In Dublin I would be secure of that so I would choose Dublin.” If she was heading abroad however, she would celebrate in Barcelona “because it’s a very Cosmopolitan city and it also has the beach…” Now we would love to see that celebration!

Elvira became the brand ambassador for TheFancyHen.ie in 2017. We have had so much fun since Elvira joined the team! She has shared her style secrets and created a stunning day and night time hen party looks with the POCO by Pippa jeans. (Check out the video below) We have visited stunning hotels such as The Maryborough Spa and Hotel where Elvira has had the chance to experience our luxurious spa packages. Miss Power Woman 2017
In July 2017 Elvira took part in Miss Power Woman 2017 in the gorgeous Caribbean. Miss Power Woman is a beauty pageant with women from all the around the world competing. On the 17th July 2017 Elvira was crowned the winner of Miss Power Woman. She also picked up Miss Power Woman Photogenic and Miss Power Woman Friendship. What an achievement!
