Hen Party Flight Routine

Hen Party Flight Routine
Hopping on a plane for the hen party? Travel in style with our Hen Party Flight Routine tips. The perfect way to keep you looking and feeling fresh before the celebrations start.
PJ’s/Tracksuit
Comfort is essential on a flight ladies. No matter how long it is, make sure you pack those PJ’s or a tracksuit. Wear something stylish to the airport but opt for comfort when you hop on the plane. You can also change back into those stylish clothes after the flight if you wish. This will help keep you fresh and feeling great.
Skincare
We have to look after our skin before the hen party ladies, not to mention on a flight. The pressure and humidity can play havoc with our skin so it is important to take care of it. Dry skin can be come drier and oily skin can produce more oil to compensate for the dryness. Not ideal before a hen party! If you are wearing make up to the flight, make sure you take it off as soon as possible. A great item to bring on board is the Cleanse Off Mitt by Jennifer Rock. This will help take off the main bulk of make up before you use your cleansing wash. We recently tried and tested the Cleanse Off Mitt so make sure you check out our review here. Next up, pop on a sheet mask. This will help keep your skin cool and hydrated during the flight. Plus, it doesn’t require any water to take off. Easy! Then it is time for your normal products such as toner, serum, eye cream and moisturiser.
Flight socks
There is nothing worse than getting off a flight and realising your ankles are the size of a football. Imagine trying to fit into your heels ladies! To make sure you are not at risk of DVT (deep vein thrombosis) or leg swelling make sure you pick up flight socks before you jet off. These can be picked in any local pharmacy or even at the airport. Some flights might even have them on board along with a mini toothbrush, toothpaste etc. Ideal!
Water
Make sure you drink lots of water ladies. Flights can not only dry out our skin but can make us feel dehydrated. Personally, if I don’t drink enough water on the journey I will come off the plane with a banging headache. Now this is a terrible way to start the celebrations! A good tip is to stay away from drinks like tea and coffee as the caffeine in will dehydrate you even further. Even though we do love a good cup of tea, try and wait until you are off the plane.
Backup
So despite your best efforts you still end up with a headache and you feel ill. In case this does happen, make sure to pop some Paracetamol and Rennie into your bag before the flight. This should help if you can’t shift the pain yourself. After all, you are heading on a hen party. You do not want feeling ill to get in the way of all the fun!
Sleep
Try and catch some sleep on this flight if possible. Catching some sleep on a plane means that you will feel and look more rested when the plane lands. Pick up some eye patches and a neck pillow to make sure you are super comfortable. You could even pop on your headphones and listen to some relaxing music while you nod off. This will help you feel more relaxed and will drown out any crying babies… Perfect!
